The tuning system by itself costs $1000. Retarded waste of money.

Haha! First vote for Awesome. It's obviously overkill and the price reflects that, but it's very innovative.

I agree. Just because something isn't necessary does not mean it isn't cool. Sure, it's a waste of money, but so are most things these days that aren't necessary, promote laziness, and are more or less just done simply because they can be done. It's still cool.

My first thoughts exactly... for guitarists that want be accomplished musicians, I don't think it's a good thing. For guitarists that can tune by ear, sure.

Oui sir, oui. I would rather see it in a floating bridge then on the headstock. It is neat, but i mean, so was that line 6 processor guitar, and that strat that changes tone with a knob to change to different strats..something like that. But, i don't like les pauls, and i live in constant fear of a robot take over...this is one step closer.

I prefer those guitars that can change do like 300 different tunnings with the press of a button. It like adjusts everything to each tunnings needs. Jeff from The Tea Party and Jimmy Page have these on their les pauls. They also are on strats. There is talk of a tremelo system with this development as well.
