DAATH
Was just wondering what Kevin Talley did after Misery Index... apparently, this.
Is it any good?

haha my band was supposed to play with these guys in toronto!
They are pretty decent, must admit, but they always get local bands to open up for them. They aren't really too huge in all honesty, they'd play the same type of venues as Mastery, or Quo Vadis y'know

I liked 'Futility', then again I'm a sucker for almost anything industrial. Everything I've heard off of 'The Hinderers' is pretty goddamn bad though.
Edit: I'm not fond of the vocals AT ALL.

I was under the impression they were nu metal. I haven't heard them though.

I like them, the vocals are really good in my opinion.

generic accessible melodic dm , barring the song "Dead on the dance floor" which i dont think theres any excuse for.
the only good thing this band has done is the song "ovum"
oh and when i saw them live they did a medley of classic dm songs- one shot one kill, day of suffering, hammer smashed face

That's not much of a recommendation.

FBS, if your looking for kevin's intense drumming within this band, it aint really there. i mean he still plays drums, but nothing like he did.

DAATH is pretty good stuff, nothing I can really sit down and listen to a lot, but it is still good.
