We're going to vote amongst ourselves when we feel every applicant has been given a fair say.

And we usually just pick people based upon secret, cabal-like discussions but have gotten to be such an old-boy's club that we found that the only members we like are other mods. So our discussions weren't very productive and we decided to try this, which will basically lead to the same but with the possibilities provided by you rather than our rather limited faculties.

Plus, it's, y'know, fair and stuff.

A. Being a mod requires the ability to type coherent sentences.
B. Being a controlled asshole seems to be a requirement.
C. Being a mod requires a basic grasp on the forum rules.
D. Being a mod requires you to have consideration for other mods.

F. Being a mod requires you to not pick favorites in arguments (atleast it should).

We don't have a specific deadline; we're going to spend however long it takes to make a decision. Keep in mind that I have to be satisfied, and that I'm a picky bastard, if you're getting impatient. On top of which every other mod has to sign off too. It might help if we had more than the bare-bones arguments we've seen so far, which are, of course, the result of a 50-word limit. Just like the 25-word limit for pitches has produced a bunch of execrable movies.
