Which are the others?
Edge of Sanity's a great band. Swano tried out some cool shit in the Swedish death groove.

This band is AMAZINGLY awesome. Their sound is so devastatingly heavy on some songs (i.e., Lost) and their use of keyboards/melody (i.e., Twilight) is top notch. Just the overall variety that they offer is amazing. Plus they have sick album art. No complaints with this band at all.

They ruled. So did Pan.Thy.Monium and Swäno's solo band(70's art-rock themed death metal if that makes any sense).

If you're talking about Moontower...that shit was a failure. Most boring album ever.
Purgatory Afterglow is Edge of Sanity's masterpiece.

It's very different from his other work and requires a pretty open mind to grow to appreciate it. I guess if you were expecting EoS type shit you would of course be disappointed.

No, I just remember when he was recording it. I was expecting something way more interesting. It's just bland riffs and boring synth lines. Definitely not even close to an essential album.

What's the best Pan.Thy.Monium album? I only have Dream II, am I missing out on their best album?

Dawn Of Dreams is their best. The other two "Kahooohs" albums are pretty good too.
