haha, did anyone notice the ridonculous price they slipped in there at the bottom? $800 for the tuning system alone (bridge, knob, tuners). Add that to a guitar with the Gibson logo stamped on it and you've got yourself one pristine, highly over-priced product. But it's Gibson, what's new?
another cool thing about it is that it also intonates your guitar. But like I said, I'm still not a fan of it. It takes the human element out of owning a guitar - all that bitching and cursing and grieving...

The Trans-Trem was a much more cooler and practical idea... it was multi-tuning as well, not to mention floating. Of course, you still had to tune it yourself...

But I must admit, if they had something like that for guitars with Floyds that automatically tuned the guitar and set the right amount of spring tension, that would be great. Sans that gay flashing light thing though.

I think it's pretty gimicky, and given that us humans have got on well enough in the last however many decades tuning and intonating ourselves I don't think anyone is going to be too fussed.
Bill and Ted might have gone for it though.
