i don't think he should be banned...it's just a free public forum. people can say whatever they want in regards to how often they plan on being gone for. a ban resulting from not going with a post you made would be more out of spite as he broke no rules...and the last thing any forum needs are moderators banning people out of spite for petty things.

Oh yeah. The strike, fuck it. They probably do deserve better wages, since script writers, producers, etc. of blockbusters and good running theathres usually receive the main part of the cash.
The regular stage hands and nipple-icers probably don't get paid very well.
I don't care much about TV, I barely watch it unless it's the news, AEX index or if there's a good movie on. Which doesn't happen all too often, I usually rent movies. |

hah, keep in mind that its not someones LIFE, thats in discussion, but rather requiem's (a hichschool student's) evenings. i think that came out right. anyway, on top of that it wasnt metaltabs, in particular. just the whole internet, which is (yes, i know) still not supposed to be the best thing in someones life. but take my current evening situation. after school i can either go play video games and smoke at my friends house, or just stay home, play guitar, and do stuff online.

I understand, kinda.
I'm not a highschool student anymore but when I was in highschool I didn't want to stick my ass behind a computer or games console. Hell, my parents would kick my ass if I'de do that..
So instead of that I played tennis competition, took guitar lessons (and gave them later on) and well, played in bands and shit. Ofcourse the weekend is there to go out with friends and that was pretty much my highschool time.
Nowadays I don't live at home anymore so I can do whatever I want but I don't want to get a console or something because I'de rather spend time with friends, sporting, playing music or whatever. I usually go onto the internet before going to sleep, like right now, it's 7 before midnight and I have to work tomorrow so I'm getting my ass in bed.
It's just your own choice if you ask me. For me not everything has to be related to computers, do whatever. You can pick up a sport or a hobby, it makes new friends easily as well.
It's just whatever you're into. It would be boring if the whole world would do the same fucking thing huh. |

def, yeah. sometimes i seriously question why i have such a limited routine. haha... oh yeah, location is a big issue. i live in the middle of crop fields. honestly, if i lived in or near a beautiful landscape id be out enjoying it. sometimes i sit here and image search pictures of the world, because its as close as i can get. i used to climb this old watchtower type thing, because i like being high up. it would be my dream to live on mountains. do you know how disappointing it is to want to shoot scenic photography, when you live on flat, desolate plains! |

Dude, cities can be weird and isolating too.
I just started a new job, got fucking thrown into a serious metal shop today grinding parts to these hospital IV holder/tray unit things and doing weird shit I have little prior experience in.
I just can't find the part time dishdog gig/odd job that would do me fine.
I work with machines can can carve out engine blocks....very fucking precise........C and C machines, they run on software, they got this big rotator of drill bits, blades, wire brushes, it's all very impressive looking.....it's all automated.
What I do is get what's been casted ready for the jig to be viced in these puppies.
I asked my new Boss if I can go for a smoke break and he was like "We don't do smoke breaks here".

I really like that album. The first song blew me away Bloodcraft. The bass drums sound fucking awesome! I saw Krisiun live a few times and they're really good, plus the pits are insane!

Ive been watching some videos of Adam Jarvis (current drummer for Misery Index) and hes sick!!! I think hes one of the best new drummers in death metal nowadays. I find him impressive. Any opinions on him?

mine was pretty average really
i just loved being able to get so much out of print and rare stuff all in one place and of a bloody high quality. i found so many awesome bands/musicians because of OiNK.

we had all gone to see immolation and suffocation the night before... our necks were not very mobile. by the end of the set , ray, our guest vocalist, is basically full upper half banging as opposed to headbanging. he gets a gold star for effort. my neck hurt too bad to do much of anything, besides i wasnt feeling the "crowd"
