I mean its not too difficult to get a weapon at a store, but if you have a federal offense you cant own a weapon legally, or in my state if your conficted of domestic violence you cant own one either. Most of these kids who end up shooting people at schools, well they havent been conficted of either, and well if someone doesn't have any criminal background, how can they be refused by our laws to own a gun?(When they also seem sane...)You can own a rifle or shotgun at 18. The legal age for a handgun is 21, and you have to get a permit to conceal the handgun. Trust me the laws are pretty tuff too if you get caught with a handgun under 21, concealed without permit, or unregistered(without papers).

However, it is this easy to get a gun on the street. I've had plenty of chances to buy an SKS or 45. Its not our supermarkets more than it is the actual abundance of unrigistered/illegal weaponry that have just built up within our nation over time. Whats weird is Lugers are very easy to get ahold of, since alot of the Vets from WW2 brought them back home, which are unregistered and were brought back to the states illegally. Now the vets have almost all died off and their kids just sell their stuff off.

Well gun ownership isn't common in western Europe. You can only get/carry a gun if you need it for your work. Even soldiers don't get to take a gun home when they return from the base or mission. When a soldier is travelling in public transport he isn't even allowed to carry his sidearm.

If you're a hunter you need to pass 1000 background checks and psychological checks plus you need to wait for a few years after joining a hunting club. The ammount of guns available here is nothing compared to the US, people don't have them for home protection. (though international criminals travelling within' our borders probably do import guns)

A distinction should be made between illegal guns and registered guns, alot of the illegal guns are from elsewhere in the world and god knows how they end up here. Gun control laws are tightening up regulation on back-up checks with improved databases on those who own.

Soldiers also don't walk around armed here as well......there is no need too since they don't fill law enforcement roles.

The illegal gun trade here is something that pretty fucking scary.

maybe some of you faygolas can help me. my damn mouse is kaput. it's a wireless mouse..the batteries are fine since the laser is still working. my computer says "this device is functioning properly" or whatever it says...which is bullshit because it's not working. i unplugged it, switched ports a few times, uninstalled it, reinstalled it, even unplugged it and hooked up another mouse which doesn't do shit either. so i'm thinking it's not the mouse itself..it's something with my computer. i'm out of fucking ideas though...about ready to smash the fucking thing. any ideas before i break out the hammer?

fairly new..put it together probably about a year ago give or take a little bit.

tried disconnecting the mouse and using this other one..my computer doesn't seem to find it or recognize it. tried to manually add hardware and there isn't a choice for a mouse. bullshit.

the only background info i can say is that last night i was drunk, don't remember the end of the night and must've not shut down correctly or my comp crashed. i woke up today and when i opened up firefox, it asked if i wanted to restore my last session..in other words, something fucked up while i was last using it.

Try hitting the reset button located on the wireless mouse. The light should start blinking.

fuck yea, it's working. whacking off and scrolling through forums worked! ha actually i called my brother and started telling him about it and what i had done to try and fix it. while i was talking i uninstalled the mouse in the hardware device manager then searched for new hardware since it was still plugged in. it found the wireless mouse and for whatever reason, it started working. fucking windows. i did that same thing a few times today and nothing happened.

Anyone have any remedies for very bad sinus congestion? I took my allergy medicine, and Alka-Seltzer doesn't help sinus congestion as much as nasal congestion. I've also taken 3 Asprin. The headaches subsided, but I can barely taste anything and my head feels like a balloon.

psuedoephedrine is the best sinus decongestant. make sure that's the active ingredient in your medicine. I'm not sure about where you live, but most places they sell all medicine containing that behind the counter, thanks to all the meth heads out there. Ibuprofin can help too, it will reduce the inflammation in your sinuses. If you take both, it should provide some relief for you.

We (I'm pretty sure it was me, but I'm saying 'we' in case it was somebody else) deleted the Tranny thread to spite Tranny Sam, not his post count. We closed the RTT because it loaded slowly. We deleted it for the hell of it and because there's really no good reason to keep it once it's closed, just like the other RTTs we've remembered to delete. I can't speak for anybody else, but I wish the day would come that I had enough time to obsess over the number of posts Tranny Sam has, though even if I did I'd probably use the time to practice juggling instead.
