Gorgoroth split?!!
Note: This poll isn't about who should get the Gorgoroth name, but who you would pick to listen to in the future. If you don't like Gorgoroth then get the fuck out, stupid posts or pointless votes will just ruin things for us fans and just fuck things up.
Details:
If you haven't been keeping up with the news, Gorgoroth have split up the band. Gaahl and King have kicked Infernus out of the band for lack of contribution to Gorgoroth for the last few years. But since Infernus is the founder of the band and only remaining original member, he feels he should keep the Gorgoroth name and logo.
King has been writting all of Gorgorths material for about 8 years now, and Gaahl is their third vocalist(the best imo). Gaahl and King are continuing to play planned shows without Infernus and have Nick Barker playing drums for them right now. In early 2008, they will be joined permanently by Hellhammer on drum duties.
Infernus on the other hand is left by himself having to start over from scratch.
I could see the court case going both ways with whoever gets the rights to the Gorgoroth name and logo.

The only good Gorgoroth albums are the first ones....particuarly Under the Sign of Hell. Gaahl had nothing to do with it. I go with Infernus.

Moe, the issue is that Infernus isn't doing anything productive in the band. I'm sure that Gaahl and King know their chances of getting the name and logo are rather slim, but why not try?. Gaahl and King are handling this in a good manor i'd say. Yeah the early albums were awesome but Infernus isn't doing shit these days. I wish that Infernus would have continued to write over the last decade as i'm sure the music would have been better, and that is the issue that Gaahl and King have..

Infernus, he owns the name, he is the founder and last origonal member, regardless on who wrote what, he gets it.

"On December 20th, Gaahl and King published a statement that the Norwegian patent office had granted them the legal rights to Gorgoroth's name and logo, explaining why they're currently shown in the lineup. Infernus and Regain have yet to respond."
