Unless you get a Fender suited more for metal like the MH or something, get a Line 6.

I have a line 6, I like it. I don't understand why they are so hated.

If you're limiting yourself to only one of those two amps, go for the Line 6. Fenders are more suited for old men who play nothing but cleans and use classic rock distortion.

i like some of the more metal steered fender amps. The tube fender reverbs can hit some nice tones. But, i can tell you're a beginner, and it takes a lot of tweaking to find good tones from the fender, but no trouble to get a distortion tone from a line 6. Line 6 for you homes

Fender had a really good metal head called the hybrid. They stopped making it but man it was fucking good. Loud as hell.
