According to Deicide's drummer the new Deicide album coming out next year will be a mix between Stench Of Redemption's style and Legion. "The guitars are even more sinister...the drums even more brutal..." We'll see about that.

Guns N' Roses - Chinese Democracy. I find it not only hilarious but also pretty interesting that it's been in the works since 1994... perhaps "14 Years" off Use Your Illusion II was the hint of how much time it would take them to get their next album done.   Of course, it makes it ten times more exciting because I feel like (or at least hope) it will range in variety and how they might have changed in style/musically over that long period. Although at the same time, I get the feeling that it will come out half assed or just generally bad in one way or another. For one, Axl's voice really isn't the same as it used to be and fucking Slash isn't in it.

Bahahaha, if "Chinese Democracy" actually comes out this year, I promise you I'll go buy a copy. I just doubt it THAT much.
Anticipated albums? Honestly I haven't even started looking at whats slated to come out next year. Metalblade is forcing out new shit by Whitechapel next year, since they just got signed (their debut just came out in july). So I'm a bit excited, but more worried that it'll come out next year...
I'd definately kill for new MA though.

Haha seriously though, they've been secretive as fuck for a long time, and trey has said in a few interviews that if were up completely to him he wouldn't say jack shit until 2 weeks before their record comes out. They'll have to fess up sometime though, because whatever record label they procure is going to have to promote it.
They have been/are still going through a rehearsal and writing phase at the moment, someone I know heard it directly from him. Their official site got totally revamped too, possibly to resemble the artwork on the next album?

Yeah HoP's promo was ridiculously good, I'm looking forward to their new cd. I like both of those HE albums, so I'm hoping it's a either a blend of both or something totally new. Rutan can really do no wrong especially paired with old bandmates(dude from Ripping Corpse is now on guitar and Webster on bass, who was with HE during their demo days).
Well fuck me running, Cynic finally decided to do a new record after their tour? Man if it sounds anything like that new song they played live on their reunion tour I'd be excited as FUCK. If not I'd still be... it's fucking Cynic!

We have finished the Sculptured record and it will be out late 2007/early 2008 on The End Records. In other news, Agalloch just finished "The White EP" for Vendlus Records which should be out late this year, or early the next. We have a few European shows scheduled now, and our in the process of scheduling a few American ones as well, all for early next 2008. Lastly, drummer Chris Greene has been replaced by Aesop of Ludicra. |

I kind of hope Megadeth release a Rust is Peace 2, just to surprise their fans, and say that the last album was just them joking around. I really couldn't care less what Metallica releases at this point, they'll probably end up turning into an alternative/polka rock band before releasing anything like Master of Puppets again. |

Cannibal Corpse can't put out something better than Kill, so I'm not looking forward so much to this one. On the other hand, I wasn't looking forward to Kill and took a long time to get it, and the surprise over how good it was is probably why I liked it so damned much. I'm sure I'll get it, at any rate.

I really want to hear the new Shade Empire album.
I'm also wanting to see if the new Bodom, Metallica, or Cryptopsy will be any good...I have serious doubts about all three, but I will be really happy if I am proved wrong.

I read somewhere that The Haunted are recording new material. Also, I hope In Flames can do something better than their last three albums, though it seems unlikely considering the sound of abnegation
I also have high hopes for the new Opeth record. I've read that it's going to be darker and faster than Ghost Reveries, which sounds very good to me. |

Maybe one day I'll listen to Come Clarity and not think that it sucks so hard that i can't listen past song seven or whatever is my personal best Soundtrack and Reroute are ok, but I'd rather see a new Lunar Strain or Jester Race. |
