Best key/scale for black metal guitar riff
hello everyone.....I'm new at black metal music composing.........and i've a question..........what's the best key/scale for black metal song???
I suggest locrian............but i'm not sure................

Na. Focus on minor stuff (Aeolian, Phrygian, etc) and dissonant and exotic stuff (diminished (locrian), whole tone, etc) oh and don't forget chromatics!

chromatic, until it gets to a solo part (if you actually put them in black metal) then go for something really weird sounding, or harmonic minor...I really like to whore that scale out.
