Delay Pedal...

What are some good delay stompboxes? I'm looking into getting one and wanted to know if there are some that are better in your opinion for whatever reason. I've been looking the Boss DD series and the Digitech XDD. Please post your suggestions. Thanks!

i like my boss DD-6. Can do alot... too much in my opinion, lots of fun to play with though.
Some people say, though, that dd-6's sound really fake and sterile and metallic... i find it reproduces the tone exactly though. Apparently theres better?

I love my Line6 DL4. But it takes up a lot of space. It can do just about anything delaywise. It's also a great looper.

I got a Boss DD-3, paid 70$ for it, it's really awesome. Industry standard.

Both the Boss DD-20 and the Line 6 DL-4 are great. Although you take a bit of a gamble with the DL-4, not the best build quality. The DD-20 is the only pedal I have ever bought twice.

i use a rocktron xpression rack mount, with a midi buddy foot controller. Isn't quite a cheap delay pedal, it pretty much covers all i need..ever, for digital effects.

DL-4 should last as long as you don't stomp the hell out of it. Other than that i agree with this guys post.
