Cubase LE- VST Drum Q.

I know a few of you have messed around with the bundled MIDI VST LM-7 drum sampler/sequencer. Anyway, is it possible to replace the dodgy individual drum sounds with say a set from Drumwerks? So, being able to reassign the keys to a new set of sounds?

As far as I've been able to tell you can't import any kits into LM-7, making it essentially useless. Weren't you using something else before?

Yeah I'm still using loops from betamonkey.com, which are really good, but I came across a decent tutorial for the LM-7 so I decided to play around with it. Its just a shame it sounds crap.... Soeru did encourage me to upgrade to Cubase SX and then go the whole way and get Drumkit from Hell, but I'm trying to pace myself with the recording, as it can get pretty frustrating at times.

To be honest it's better to thrust yourself into it. It may seem overwhelming, but you're not going to make it that much easier to learn the more complex stuff if you're just stuck in the stripped-down versions. DFH sounds exponentially better and you don't have to worry about using loops, you can just program in the beats yourself (or use the MIDI patterns built in with EZdrummer if you get it) within the DAW you choose. I second Soeru's suggestion of Cubase SX3, it's what I use to record and I think it's great.
