I watched the season premiere of Dethklok last night. I thought it was allright. Had some pretty good moments. What are your collective thoughts on it? BTW, the album comes out in the states tomorrow. I'll definitely be picking it up. There will be a 2 CD special edition featuring seven additional songs, including the Coffee Jingle, the video for Bloodricuted, and the first episode from Season 2. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Not sure what it'll cost yet, but I can't imagine it being more than 20 bucks. I'll probably be picking that one up.

yea, i agree...was alright. definitely not the best episode..last season they had a few that weren't as good, then some i thought were great.
lord, don't give up on it just yet..new one every week, and they are short as hell. |

I just found out Starship Troopers was a book before it was a movie. ANyone read it? Does it differ from the movie as much as it says it does on wikipedia?

I don't think Canadians get Cartoon Network; Europeans don't to my knowledge.
Torrents would be your best option, like grafcore said above, or if you want to, you could actually buy the first season online. |

It was okay when they subbed the cartoons, but once they synced them, everything fell apart.
Voice syncing always sounds a bit weird, but Dutch voice actors..their..well..

I hate teachers like that. And Librarians...... I remember back in elementary school, one of the librarians was reading to us..... she kept having to pause to read a word. It was like, "what the hell? Is this irony or just plain stupid?"
My guitar class teachers both weren't very fluent as far as guitar playing goes, but it wasn't a very complex class (no sweep picking or tapping or anything like that  ). We mostly had to teach ourselves. Wasn't too bad.

Subs aren't distracting if you grew up with them.
Distracting are voices that aren't supposed to sound that way.
They synced the Simpsons movie in Dutch because they thought children would understand it better  . It sounds horrible, and halve of the jokes don't work.

well don't go by just that one episode. it wasn't the best by far. i think i enjoyed it more just because i've seen all the other ones and am used to the characters and whatnot. haven't heard the cd yet. i have several of the mp3s though. hah funny thing is that the songs are written for a cartoon yet are better than some real bands.

Exactly. I would say they're better than half the metal bands out right now.
I'm going to watch some of the first season later today. I have a feeling I'll like it, just haven't seen enough. The ending of the episode the other night had me laughing my ass off.(The guy thats about to eat a baby haha.)

If he's talking about "Serpentine Offering" then I will say that song is badass, and they certainly don't sound like a cliche black metal band, however, I can't really take any band serious who makes music videos that horrible, and wears corpse paint so pathetically(yeah, "pathetically" as if it weren't a pathetic act in itself). |

Tolerance sucks, even if it built up from you using them for medicated reasons. When in 9th grade I used to use prolific amounts of pain killers. Next year I had my wisdom teeth pulled out and the pain killers were felt only slightly be me. |

never taken darvocet in my life, was only prescribed it because tramadol/ultracet was keeping me awake at night
not taking pills to get high anyway, but i dont believe this has done a bit of good for pain management

Trans: painkiller is such crap stuff. Requiem is right, more you take, less you get effects. I never take pills, even for a headache (i have on each 2 days!) And my health is better than people (people who take painkiller) that only have one headache per months even a year.
Seriously, when you get pain, just sleep, or let it go. painkilelr are there only to scrap our health to become more sick (in long term) in the purpose to buy more pills and pay for health care again and again....Dont know if you understand what i mean, if not, sorry, im pretty tired loll!!!
