Between the Buried and Me
Anybody here like? Fucking amazing band, truely a musicians band as well. Extremly technical, articulate solos, and a pluthera of influence combined to create an amazing sound. You can hear nearly every influence when you listen to them. Now "Alaska" (Their latest) is decent.....I like "Backwards Marathon" you hear the guy sing "its raining" for about 3 minutes before going into the F. Mercury style scream, then right back to the hook and toilet flushing growls. "The Silent Circus" on the other hand is one of my favorite CD's of all time. Fucking everything from clap breaks (and not what you take from school after eating your girls asshole), to I dare say "Jester Race" type solos (Ad a Dglgmut), all the way to Vader type break downs (2:00 into "The need for Repetition"), and pussy ass "Opeth" acoustical pieces. If you havent checked them out, they're definently worth a look. Their cover CD "The Anatomy of" is alright, covering everyone from Queen, Smashing Pumpkins, Pantera (Shitty cover.......), and Counting Crows.
