Peavey amps

I've been playing guitar for a year now and have started looking into possible amps. I've been outbid on Roland Cubes and Vox Valvetronix (both the 30 watt versions) but have recently come accross 2 amps: the Peavey Studio Pro 112 and Peavey Envoy 110:

I was wondering how these amps compare with, say a Roland Cube 30 or Vox AD30VT. I am aware that a little bit of extra money could get me a better amp but I've played through a Cube 30 and was perfectly happy with its sound so would like to know how these amps compare.

Any help with how much I should bit up to, which is the better of the 2 would also be much appreciated.

Nah stay away from those really, they I've heard quite a bit of bad things about their reliability(these 2 models in particular, other peaveys like the old versions of the Bandit are quite nice, and the tube peaveys are all brilliant). Maybe for just playing at home especially throwing a pedal into it it might be okay though, if you can get it for dirt cheap and it's working.

the top one my uncle passed down to me when i just started playing guitar, reliability wise, it lasted for about 15 years flawlessly, not quite driven beyond its abilities, but it just lasted.
But tone wise it wasn't great, go for the cube, or if you can find the bandit, thats pretty bad ass.
2 years you don't need a huge ass rig, so don't go overboard with money.

Yeah bro you shouldnt have any problem with the Studio Pro. But if you do the price to reliability ratio or that of the support that the company gives you, peavey usually comes out on top. Though it wasnt mentioned in this thread, I would strongly advise AGAINST ever buying a marshall. They're good amps, but I've had the "channel 2" go out on 2 of them now. Like I can put it on 2, but it comes out acoustic and undistorted.
