How dare you compare this to Death, Morbid Angel, Watchtower or Cynic!?

The songs were ok, and had some really nice riffs, and definitely cooler than Morbid Angel, but the comparison to Death, Watchtower and Cynic was off.
I really don't see what's experimental about it though. Unless you're experimentation involves combining Morbid Angel with the sound of Modern tech bands. If so, then good job, but it's something that really doesn't need to be further experimented with.

I think this music is awesome.
Those two songs on the myspace page are MUCH better than the ones you can download from the band website. I look forward to hearing the full album.

'For fans of' implies a comparison, as in 'if you like these bands, then this one will likely satisfy you as well, because it falls under the same taste realm.' Note that you didn't say 'For fans of 2 Live Crew, MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, and TLC comes Cerebrum.' Why didn't you? Because bands from late 80's/early 90's hip-hop don't really give an indication of the type of sound the band has.
The songs sound all right. A lot of Morbid Angel in there, I think.

No such thing.
But this was pretty cool. I hear some Immolation in there.

Too slow and boring for my taste.
The drums pissed me off. Too many drummers focus more on fast dubble bass/dubble pedal rather than good snare speed/technique.
I didn't hear any blasting or stable skank beats. Just generic beats.

I'm not really a fan or Morbid Angel.
The songs are growing on me more from this band.
My problem, is that the songs don't sound bright at all, and I really think the solos could be better, but other than that, I like the riffs alot.
Drums are ok, but nothing to get excited over. I'm no drummer, so it really doesn't bother me. They aren't annoying at all, and match everything else.
