Am I really an asshole?
I am constantly trashing on bullshit "metal" like Bullet For My Valentine, Norma Jean, As Blood Runs Black.. etc...
Am I really an asshole cause I constantly bash out these bands and people who like them?
I am just being honest. These bands make metal look like music for weeping highschooler scene kids(which make up the majority of their fans).

No, I think you're fine. The only objection I have is that you're calling it metal at all! It's metalcore at best.

none of that qualifies as metal.
I don't feel the need to rag on individuals because of the music they listen to. That is a completely immature and superficial way to judge someone, which really says a lot about how shallow the person criticizing is.
I'll just spill my guts about how much a band sucks after listening to them, not attack the people who like it.
