something weird happend

i was fixing my friends guitar and a string broke, so i was taking the strings off and what not and one string is like stuck in the bridge. i've never seen this before and i cant get it out. its a fender strat, so its a string through bridge, i took the bridge apart but the string is still stuck inside the bridge. i've spray'd alot of WD 40 and it still wont budge, whats wrong?

You need something to poke it out with. Its probably just stuck or rusted in the bridge.

I usually use the end of my low E string to poke the stuck ones out.
