edge III trem angle

i have a rg with an edge III on it and the original set up i got seemed like the bridge was on a small angle coming up from the body but since then ive set it up with the trem totally even to the body because from everything i've read that seems right, the knife edges look totally good with the body but it has a different feel. i've check ibanezrules.com and jemsite.com and they dont have any info on the edge III so if anyone has any info let me know. i've seen edge trems that should sit perfectly even with the body and others that have an angle on the top so im just wondering.

It should be on a slight angle. the top of the tremolo is not parallel to the bottom.

I'm pretty sure the Edge Pro trems (Edge Pro (Japanese), Edge Pro II (Korean) and Edge Pro III (Korean)) should all be parallel to the body.

Only the original Edge tremolo should slant like above. The base plate (and knife edge insert) of the Edge is still parallel to the body though, just usually set low enough for you not to be able to see it.

Actually I take that back, the Edge Pro III is slanted, so should therefore look like it's on an angle. I played on one today.

it's a pain in the balls to work with but yeah, i've come to the conclusion that a slight angle is the way to go. everything looks to be lined up correctly and totally stable.

Yeah, as long as the bottom of the trem is level with the bottom of the trem cavity/body of the guitar it will be set up correctly.
