bleeding through tone
g'day
i'm sure there are many of these before me, but there's none i can find. anyways, today i got myself an ultra metal pedal and i was wondering if you guys could help me achieve a tone similiar to bleeding through, or just a general metal core tone.
variables are:
*amp*
treble
bass
notch gain (150-360 hz)
*pedal*
distortion
high
mid
low
mid frequency
thanks in advance.

I haven't got a clue but Jonas from Bleeding Through posts on the Caparison/bmusic Forum, so I'd ask over there.

set everything to 12 oclock first.
pedal:
Now for the highs, rotate clockwise until you get that buzz they have.
Mids, i'd say roll them counter clockwise.
Bass, no fuckin clue. Maybe clockwise?
gain, roll to desired level.
Not sure about yoru amp, its near impossible to help somebody when you cant touch the gear yourself. Also, metalcore switches alot between boosted mids and scooped mids, sooooooo that could change things. Example: As I Lay Dying is almost all mids.
