Fixing chips, dents, etc on your guitar
I recently discovered a chip on the body of my guitar. Though it's on the back, and rather tiny and unnoticeable, I'd rather have my baby spotless. Any tips for fixing her up?

You could get wood putty and fill the hole with it, then paint it or color it with a marker.

Is that like carpenter's glue? I need to do this to my JS30RR, it's chipped up really badly on it's points.

It isn't glue, it's a substance made from wood dust and a binder that can be used to fill imperfections in wood. Kind of like how caulk is used to fill a hole in a wall, wood putty can be used to fill a hole in wood.

Cool, can I get this at a hardware store? I'd really like to fix some of my guitars/basses up.

You should be able to find it at a hardware store. It'll be called either wood filler, or wood putty.

i used nail polish. Chicks are really really really good at finding the exact color. isn't exactly seamless, but it worked for my V.

If your guitar is black you could always use finger nail polish.

black crayon does mine just fine. Although it has gotten to a point where I don't care too much anymore.
