Hey guys. I am between buying a Dual Rectifier Mesa, the Road King combo Mesa Combo, a 6505 Peaver or the XXX Peavey. Any suggestions and bands that use each amp? I would really appreciate it. I specially like the Mesa sound, but I haven´t had time to check the Peavey, cause there are no shops near my place that carry it.

Damn dude! A road king? If you can afford it then it gets my vote out of those amps. Who cares if no one special uses one because you can nail every Mesa tone there ever was or will be.

Besides, if you like a diverse Mesa tone range than that is the amp!

Depends, Road King is much more complicated than the Peavey.

And costly to maintain. It has like 348 tubes or something, but you can hardly beat the options for a Mesa.

My decision so far is going towards the Road King. I just have another question now. I can get a hold of a I version, and I have just tried the Road King II. What are the differences between these 2?
