Smile Buying new cab

Hi my first post here I'm new to the forum but have used the site for a long time now. I am trying to decide on what 4x12 cab i should buy. I will be using my modified traynor 40 watt tube combo as the head for now(at @ 8 ohms). I play a lot of classic rock and metal almost all genres of metal and with my band (we play alot of thrash mixed with some black metal elements)I play lead guitar. The cabs I am looking at are Marshall 1960 lead, B-52, Carvin V3, Avatar, and used Framus at GC for around $650(is it worth that) cosidering the price of the others? Thanks for your time and Help.

i would get an avatar made with 2 gt75s and 2 v30s in a criss cross pattern unless you can get one of the others cheaper. (not the b52)

USED Framus cab for $650?!? I thought they were less new! Don't do it. Not worth it by a long shot.

Get an Avatar G412 Vintage. Great cabs, for little money. For thrash and black metal, Vintage 30's are good, can also be mixed with G12T-75's for a little more low end. If you feel your tone is too ice-pickish / shrill now then the G12T-75 won't help, but if you don't have issues with that, you can mix in those.

Also, if you go for Avatar, get Hellatone 60's, not Vintage 30's. They are the same speakers but the Hellatone has been broken in just a little to make it a little smoother sounding.

Thanks for the help so far. I just noticed looking around that the avatar cabs have smaller dimensions than normal 4x12 cabs how would this affect the sound? Im worried that they wont have enough low end Also I found that the Carvin V3 comes with V30 speakers for 550 on sale right now and is the exact same dimensions as a Marshall 1960. That seems like a good deal but what doe you guys think. Had good experiences with Carvin products before my dad has an awesome bass amp from them. By the way where did you find framus cabs for under 650 are they worth looking into?
