Soundgarden/Audioslave/Chris Cornell Style
hi everyone. I am relatively new to singing (I'm 15). I am a huge chris cornell fan and I am trying to emulate his style. I realize he is a very talented vocalist, but I was wondering if anyone has tips on emulating his style of singing and his scream. I have quite a low and crisp voice.

Making a thread on this subject is very flame-buoyant.

Why? Because you faggots have no taste in music whatsoever? I'm pretty sure your shitty death metal doesn't count as music, limp dick.

I don't listen to death metal or black metal. I prefer clean vocals but not people who can't sing.

this is metaltabs.com
and Soundgarden/Audioslave are not metal.
and cornell dos'nt scream, he uses his diaphragm to reach a higher louder note, which is not screaming, it's part of singing.

Kid, you're fucking fifteen and don't know shit about shit. So either be respectful or shut the fuck up. You could learn a lot here if you weren't such a snot-nosed brat.

It's good that it is limp. If it was hard while reading these posts, you'd have some serious issues.

and don't be such an ignorant fuck, just because you don't prefer a style of music doesn't mean it isn't in fact music.
go compare some styles and chord diagrams of death metal and your radio rock bullshit, and tell me which is more "musical" or which you think would require a more clear understanding of "music theory"
prick

Haha I was going to say the same thing.
FWIW, I think Chris Cornell is a good singer, but THIS is a metal forum. And the attitude, while hilarious, is not appreciated.
But thanks for playing, we have some lovely parting gifts for you...
