HELP!
the input on my amp doesn't work unless its pushed straight up and left that way, the weight of my cable pulls it down and it shorts out!
I have a gig ..... TONIGHT ..... and no money!
is there a quick fix solution for this?!?!?!?

Either open her up and solder the connection, or you could route the cable from the back and tape it on top of the amp so it holds in the 'right' position.

Borrow the bass amp from the other bands you're playing with.
Or solder it up and risk another failure on stage. I wouldn't be all to happy trying that. When in doubt, arrange other gear. It usually breaks down if you think it will.

Loop duct tape around the head of the cable, then pull it up and tape it to the back of the amp. Don't move around too much, though.

I don't think this piece of shit is worth getting fixed....
anyone got suggestions for a new Bass amp?
preferably tube, or hybrid.
in the 700 - 1600 range.
If at all possible I kind of want something that not everybody plays. if you know what I mean.

If you have a soldering iron you could fix it for free in only a few minutes, rather than paying over $700 for a new amp.

I know, I COULD fix it.
My point was, I hate the piece of shit even when it works fine...
it's served me well for the hours i've gotten out of it.
I'm looking to upgrade is all.
