Southern-Fried!

Friend of mine is soundtracking a party with this theme. It's a goddamn big party, and it will go forever. He needs lots of music. Got any more CURRENT bands that fit the following list?

B.L.S.
Corrosion of Conformity
Down
Monster Magnet
Clutch
Hell Yeah

P.S. No bitching about how much you hate one or more of these bands. I don't fucking care.

Most of these are going to sound obvious but:

Crowbar
Superjoint Ritual
Pantera
Kyuss

Hope I helped. I don't really know much about the genre.

I agree, it's a great record. Not many people seem to know about it.

i think it has something to do with BigVin, new label, low budget (especially in europe), lots of other releases, etc. etc. etc. It could have banged when picked up by say...Century of Nuclear Blast

What are you talking about? Pantera are still one of the most popular metal bands around and they pretty much invented the genre.

Sorry, misread your statement. I thought you were saying southern metal isn't a known genre of metal...

Rebel meets rebel was ok, i just couldn't get into it maybe because of who was fronting the band.(Coe) just all the unrated shit he has is retarded.
