Need settings for a podxt live
I am currently playing a Epiphone SG with EMG H1 b/n passive pickups, throught a Hughes and Kettner 4x4 half stack I picked up of my buddy. I am trying to find some presets to ressemble bands such as Killswitch Engage, All that remains and As I lay dying. I would mess around with it myself but I am currently deployed and would like to jump into playing with my new podxt live when i get home. It's still in the box waiting for me.
Thanks for any help.

I recommend EMG active pickups too. KSE use those in their guitars anyway, EMG 85's. You'll notice a definite improvement in tone as opposed to your passive EMG's.

If you're going to run it into your amp, turn off its cabinet simulation feature and run your guitar into the XT, and then straight into the FX loop return(if your amp has one), that way you completely bypass your amp's preamp.

There is an online databank of preset tones, and thousands of the shit-band-like ones you're looking for.

I've found that about 99% of those are pure shit. People are tonedeaf or something. Also, it makes a difference with the types of guitars each person is using, not to mention whether they had it plugged into an amp or their computer when they created the patch.
