Your favorite drinking music!
Have at it folks. Post what band, songs, and genre that you enjoy to drink to.
Lately I've been listening to the following bands when I drink : Mithotyn, Finntroll, Kromlek, Korpiklaani and Graveworm.
Share your favorite drinking music so I can have another reason to drink.

old school punk. Black Flag, Misfits, GBH,
some old school metal Iron Maiden, Grim Reaper, Mercyful Fate, Judas Priest, Motorhead
those are just my personal favorites, every now and then some death metal or thrash metal when im hammered

there is a big difference, if i am alone.
alone, old stuff from these:
tristania
theatre of tragedy
katatonia
generally sad stuff. wallowing in self pity.
and sometimes Draugnim's song "no heir to claim the throne"
with friends:
mithotyn
dark moor
kalmah
iron maiden

I don't care what you listen to really. Your assumption is wrong i only listen to technical, Fusion and experimental metal, the rest of all metal is boring to me.
For a start my favourite band beneath the massacre writes in 4/4..... k
I listen to many genres all of which are acceptable in 4/4 because they are at least catchy and uplifting unlike the monotonous boredom of metal.
Also i'm not joking about black metal it's not only the worst genre in metal it's probably the worst genre of all, i would rather listen to 50 cent or Eminem.

Good, play 50 cent tonight for 7 hours continuously, and keep drinking. I hope that in your last drunk seconds alive you keep thinking that those Norwegian fuckheads still have any relevance to the genre today.

Ah crap, should have seen that one coming, you won.
So back on topic: the Doors and Motörhead would be all you need I guess. Oh and Nashville Pussy and KILL CHEERLEADER (check out the song So Young man. And No Feelings man. The sixties are over. Man.)

Jesus Christ, you keep reaffirming that you're the stupidest cunt on the board.
I listen to music my friends and I enjoy most comfortably together, usually this involves hardstyle/hard trance/progressive trance, and good times ensue dancing while drunk, and teasing each others dancing while drunk . I'd rather get drunk with mates and talk shit, and have music in the background, rather than music be most prominent. I'm sure this is the same for everyone.

A lot of people like to listen to some stupid shit while they drink. I only say this because nobody but me ever seems to play AC/DC. It pisses me off most when someone puts on some indie art rock bullshit. It has it's time and place, and thats not while you're drinking.

Brutal death works good for some hard liquor shots or beer funnels. I also like irish and folk music for some laid back drinking. Party mode... nothing works better than some Metallica or Pantera.

YES!!! good call on The Beatles, nothing better than yelling out "SHE'S SO..." and then drunkingly slurring out the guitar riffs that follow it.

I do my drinking almost always in pubs these days, but when I was living in a shared house with a bunch of guys who weren´t into metal, we used to listen to:
NWA
Public Enemy
Wesley Willis (this is excellent once you´re well on the way)
Hammerfall (we used to have "dreams come true" kareoke sessions)
I like to listen to cryptopsy when I´m drunk too.

I prefer to listen to music than be drunk to it, bu I can remember some good times with:
Hate Eternal
Prostitute Disfigurement
Decapitated
Necrophagist
Fear Factory
Gorefest
In Flames
...in the background.

i prefer some death metal like bloodbath. But of course it works with irish drinking songs, and some viking metal like finntroll too .
But it depends, if i drink hard i want to listen to more heavier music, and if i just drink a couple of beers i rather listen to misfits or something like that. I also like to listen to irwin goodman, a finnish artist..

I know a lot of people like brutal/tech death when they're drinking, but I find it highly boring when I'm drinking. I prefer very, very melodic metal (Finntroll, Moonsorrow, etc.).
Also, I find myself listening to Anthrax a lot when I'm drunk, which is strange because I really fucking hate them otherwise.

Black Flag.
The Red Chord.
Necrophagist.
Pretty much playing Guitar Hero and jamming to the sound track.
I don't drink much anymore.
Smoking music for me though?
3 bands.
Whitechapel's "Somatic Defilement,"
Job for a Cowboy's "Genesis,"
and Through the Eyes of the Dead's "Bloodlust" and "Malice." Two different singers on both albums, and the last half of "Bloodlust" is PERFECT to smoke to.
