i don't recommend listening to it. gallops never come out well for me because they are two short notes and one marginally bigger one instead of three equals.
just look at it and try playing it. it comes pretty naturally, so you'll probably know what i'm trying to do with the first riff

Arcan Maltra reminds me of Gorguts whom I love. Very evil sounding riffs and dissonant stuff. Would love to hear it recorded with drums and vocals.

no just reduce your intro and few riffs, i can be good, you need to work on it. work on your style. I had the same problem too, and i still have to work on it, so continue your work upgrade it and you will have good result!

Forget what Bob is saying, the intro is aight.

Some or most of the bass harmony lines were pretty funk in a non musical way.

Then some of the riffs just seemed really boring. Maybe better with drums but I doubt it.

I think you have some cool ideas in all of your songs. I especially like the dissonant feel, Gorguts around From Wisdom to hate / Obscura era, I was stuck on that stuff as well for some time. I listened to Colossus Pulse and it had some very cool riffs that would make a great song, however it was too long for my taste and without drums and stuff it's not much variety.

But yea, you should definitely record some of your songs. Cheap recording gear would be V-amp 2 / Pod XT for recording guitars + cubase and ezdrummer to fix the drums and recording, that's kinda what I use and you can make some pretty damn decent recordings with those if you know your stuff (see Periphery).

acoustic stuff is nice ... kind of baroque hetfield haha sry that's probably not what you want to hear. real nice though.

when the strings start to take off around bar 96 it gets interesting, kind of like emperor with the intricate runs interlocking.

the finale is kind of plunky and weird without percussion, i'm having trouble envisioning how it's supposed to sound.

this is definitely the most listenable stuff you've posted yet. i think your melodies and counterpoint are really good ... looking forward to you putting some of your parts together into a cohesive song. (with drums too!)
