i want to start my scream/growl vocal training. Im a guitar player who wants to learn vocals. Now my main goal would be to learn DM vocals along with some clean vocals. But i suck at screaming. Now i also listen to some hardcore and their screams sound easier to do than DM. Should i practice hardcore vocals before learning death metal vocals?

bury your dead or terror is what id like to go for. just straight aggressive screaming. I want to get that down, then learn Death Metal vocals.

Pratice for what you want to achieve.

The vocal styles aren't related to one another, so it'd be pretty pointless. Unless you want to be able to do both. But one won't lead to the other.

i want to do both, im asking which would be better to start with. but i guess since theyre both different it doesnt matter

it wont make a diferance, do watever you want first. but if you cant do that flat out screaming stuff i dont sudject trying to "train" yourself to do that cuz youll just fuck something up. i cant do it myself because m,y voice is too deep.
