so a maple top would be similiar to a maple vaneer exept teh vaneer is thinner?

1, do a yahoo search onit, should be plenty to find on that..( also its hard for me to explain without posting pictures, and im to lazy for that right now, so google or yahoo it).

2 rock maple is the hardest type of maple

3, compound radius is when the fretboard is rounder on the lower frets (1st and up) and slightly gets flatter on the high frets.

4,scalloped heel, bassicaly, they made the hele smaller for better acces.

5, carved top, benefits?? mosty cosmetics i think, some might find it more comfortable, so may not.

6, veneer is a sheet of wood, about 0.5 0.6 mm thick in most cases.
