Do you mount your China inverted...

...or like a normal crash?

Why do some drummers have a couple of Chinas mounting one inverted and the other standard?

I have 2 and they are both inverted, but when I mount them like a normal crash, they sound the same to me. It just seems like the cymbal is more durable upside down.

Yeah it is way more durable when you have it inverted. If not, the lip is a lot more likely to crack. I always hit my chinas along the curve, never on the outer edge. I find it makes them last longer.
