Yeah, that's the one thing I don't like about Arcturus; the guitars. They sound good, but they have no presence. It's background noise or whatever. Still love the band, though. Too bad they broke up.

you know, i think solo's are easier then rhythm,
with some legato or sweeping, it gets a break off the alt picking.
why are you hesitant to try it?
