Ask on the BKP forum too, they're pretty much the authority on this.
IMO the fat, warm sound of the Warpig would be best suited for a strat.

The nailbomb has a cooler name, so go with that. I wish more pickup manufacturers would publish the exact EQ curves and output in mV that their pickups have, it would be way more informative than just saying "it's a smooth dynamic crunch". :|

Never buy a pup unless they have that kind of information posted somewhere. It's kinda like buying speakers. Every pup that is sold should test about the same as the advertised standard by that company too. Its like most try to force you to burn the money just to test their stuff.

Not sure the Warpig does 'warm' too well, they are pretty sterile sounding especially in ceramic form. Unless you really need the extra output of the Warpig then I'd probably suggest the Miracle Man, as it too has a Ceramic magnet but slightly lower output. I'd always goes Ceramic over Alnico for the tighness.

I thought the warpig was a very warm pickup? But yeah, don't get the ceramic version. You could also mail BKP and see what they say.
I'm a little different on the EQ/output in volts issue though. EQ curves only work if you're set on one manufacturer, different mfgs think different about EQ curves, so they're more misleading than they're informative if you're comparing (example) Duncan to Dimarzio. I agree data like EQ and output in mV's is very useful if you're comparing products from one manufacturer (comparing a X2N to an Evo, as an example).
What cannot differ however regardless of mfg is DC resistance and the type (and size) of magnets used, so that's useful info. Generally if you have two pickups with roughly the same output and the same magnet but one had a DC resistance of 10k and the other was 20k the one with 20k resistance would have more compression and darker tone, and the 10k would have less compression, be more sensitive and have a brighter tone. The way they get the same amount of output is by using thicker wire on the 10k pickup but using the same length of wire (the 10k pickup would be more expensife to manufacture). Output is dependant on the amount of turns of wire around the magnet and the strength of the magnetic field.
An EQ curve doesn't tell you how smooth the treble is, how sweet the midrange is or how tight the bass is either, IMO you need the desctiption and preferably you need to try it.
BKP will let you exchange the pickup for another model (or rewire it) if you don't like it i think.

I wouldn't put a Warpig in a Strat. I'm assuming you're putting a humbucker in there, but what kinda sound do you want from it? As others have said, your best bet is to ask over at the BK forum... see you there
They are working on a site redesign at the moment, shouldn't be too long now, and there will be more descriptions and EQ curves for the pickups

what are you playing? warpig is warm (in alnico form, think of a warm non-sterile emg81, with more bass) but the painkiller is warmer. Painkiller i heard is like a sweeter JB, the bkp guys think jb's sound like shit which i find strange... i like jbs
But for a real strat tone (non metal really) i'd say an emerald. Talk to the BKP guys, they know their shit, and Tim (the guy who makes them) will help you with ANYTHING.

I think you should pull a stock pickup from an Epiphone Les Paul. Sure, you could use something more expensive, but this is my recommendation based on the STELLAR amount of information you have given us.
