Older Jacksons

Anyone got a website that has specs and pics for Older US/Japanese-made Jacksons? I've got a hankering for one but I don't know where to start looking.

My preferences would be: Superstrat shape, Bridge humbucker + maybe a single coil at the neck. 24 fret neck or 27, 25.5 scale, Board material is whatever; I can get on with them all, prefer ebony. OFR, Unfinished i.e. non-painted/ satin finish neck with reverse headstock. Bolt-on or neckthrough (although I suspect most neck-thrus come with painted necks right?. I'll be changing the pickups so that dosn't matter. I'd really like it in White as well

Any suggestions?

That's what I had to do. Jackson would no longer make me another KV-1 without having it custom ordered via the custom shop for $5,000. I had one of the last 12 KV-1s ever made in 1998. Only difference was mine had dunlop 6100 frets instead of the weird square ones Dave use.

I was forced to find a custom shop that would build a Jackson KV-1 replica. I found Ran Guitars. I had them build a KV-1/B.C. Rich jr V hybrid guitar and have never looked back at Jackson again.

Fender now owns Jackson so good luck getting any information out of them.

Sorry should have mentioned I was looking for used guitars. To be honest I was hoping of getting one cheaper than custom-shop prices. I'd really like a Caparison, but the price and availability are stopping me.

Look on ebay for the old Jackson Professional series from the 90's, killer inexpensive guitars, but you're not gonna find any with neckthru, OFR stock, and ebony fingerboard for under 700$(there's the new neckthru SLSMG but it's fixed bridge).

Sounds like what you want is this:

Jackson DK2-M. JB/Jazz combo stock! Costs like 500 bucks new, really good neck and fucking killer finish and binding. Whenever I suggest that guitar to someone it gives me GAS.

If you absolutely must have something with H-S or H-S-S configuration then look for old Charvels like Model 4's or 5's or 6's, pretty inexpensive and very awesome guitars, some neckthru like my model 5Fx, they sell between 250-500$ and are way better build quality than most of the new jacksons in that price range.
