i am new to this forum i was just wondering what is the most extreme heavy fast band you have heard?

i like bands like cryptopsy and the berzerker i was just wondering how much more extreme music gets?

I agree with you mate, The Berzerker are one of the brutalist out there. Hail Aussie Metal \m/ Check out Hate Eturnal, they are one of the most extreme death/grind bands out there. Also bands like Nile and Mortician etc etc... If u like Black metal and u want brutal check out anaal nathrakh

I heard The Bezerker is just shitty drum machine music, played at 400 bpm that gets boring as shit. Note To Everyone: Drum machines are NOT extreme. Anaal Nathrakh, Cattle Decapitation, and the Dillenger Escape Plan (extreme in its own way), are all some good extreme one's to go for.

nah darkest hour berzerker have a real drummer, thats just their sound the electronic drum machine sound. i saw em live and their drummer is incredable.

I agree with ya on Mortician uuuuhhhhhhh, but there are alot of mortician fans that swear they are the brutalist...i just think they are slow and low, but tolerable.
The Berzerker have the fastest drummer in metal, he just sounds like a drum machine coz he is going that fucking fast!!! He recorded 1148bpm for a whole minute. I could list every grindcore band I listen to if you want brutal but you would have so many grind bands that you wouldnt know where to start

I'll be able to tell you fully about the new Kataklysm CD when my friend gets it to me from Athens on Wednesday. I had one of the new songs of off it, very brutal compared to their older stuff. I always liked all the instrumentation but the new singer's voice is ten times harder than the old one.

Although they are not always that fast than other bands: Fleshcrawl!

I've seen them at the WOA 2002 and there was a real massacre at the wetstage! you have to see the singer! his eyes gouged out and there was aggression within the air during that gig!

Surprisingly no one has mentioned Suffocation. And as for Berserkers dummer, when you watch him play, his feet do NOT match the double bass you hear. So either its all pre-recorded, or everytime he hits a bass, 2 more beats fallow right after it or something. Oh yeah, they suck ass also.
