His foot tapping to his own tune.
The notes dancing off the stage shimmering blue.
Phrases of no words, expressing all.
Travelling in the air and room beyond the wall.
My newfound addiction grazes my ears.
It swindles my mind and brings me to a foreign land.
He closes his eyes as he begins his first attack.
Firey arpeggiated runs blowing through my head.
Keeping me guessing how it will end.
But as the phrases continue.
I realise the tragedy amidst.
A diminished 7th begins to surround the end.
His little brown book begins to control his fate.
Now his song is done, even though it felt so wrong.
The crowd claps as he humbly walks away.
Holding one last impromptu in his mind.
Trying to hold back fate one last time.
