yes. i have the debut. great melodic death. she beats the fuck out of ang3la, if you ask me. yet... NO ONE KNOWS because arch 3n3myz are t3h ultra populaar!!! i know it shouldnt be a competition. i only mention it because of the gay hype put on angela.

anyway, i hope shadow dont get shitty. the cd is really good. its got that mid-era In Flames aura, at times.

I hate when bands release a really good album then disband, At The Gates comes to mind.

I mean i like At The Gates Old School DM albums but i like their MeloDeath album Slaughter Of The Soul the best.

yeah, bands do all kinds of shitty things. for example, i have this one 3 song demo im really into... but it came out in like '02... the band is "still active" but whats the use if they arnt producing songs/albums. anyway, as far as the thread is concerned, i think its fuckin sad that it probably wont go further than this because 1. they arnt well known. and 2. most people here dont fuckin care about what id call good stuff.

well, i didnt mean to start a discussion on that^. but if youd like to know, always melodic, more keyboard, the better (i listen to some stuff that is only keyboard). dont really go out of my way to find something technical, but if it happens to be, as well as non-dissonant (most of the time), although i do have some dissonant bands, but its higher noted sort of stuff, not the low "brutal" or heavy aura. i mean, quo vadis is called technical, but its really melodic, and a type of dissonance that doesnt bother me at all. but meh, yeah, melodic stuff is what i love. shadow is very melodic. if you want to know a handful of bands i listen to, i have some in my MT profile. i also have a much more extensive list on myspace.com/vikingmetaldragon

black, death, some thrash, love folk, little doom, so long as its all fairly melodic.

i have "at the heart of winter". its pretty sweet, i must say. does NOT sound like black metal, to me. as i remember, a lot of it was very groovy shit. almost like a rockish feel to some of that one.

I like the more melodic stuff too as well as brutal metal.

I love the Gothenburg sound.
