Yeah YouTube fucking sucks now... they permanently shut my account down a few months ago because I posted some live Cannibal Corpse videos which they deemed "offensive"

Paddy, the second song in that video is the best.
Guys pay attention. The ole lady's gonna school you in 70's culture. The yellow pants the woman is wearing about 1 minute into the video are called elephant bells. Some I had, yes, I did, had 52 inch diameters on each leg. I had a pair ai made that were blue, green, black , and white stripes and they were hip huggers. In other words the waist band sat on the hipbones.
This is all the kind of stuff we wore in the mid 70's before disco robbed people of their sanity.
(I sent him the link. btw His mother's in prison for what she did to a pelican.)
Amadeus, do you know how hard it is to whistle when you're eating crackers?

How FUCKING german (or swiss, same deal) to make something like that. I swear, I'm not even surprised.
Haha, but it wouldn't be all that far off in some senses... I have an almost complete collection of Mozart on the shelf.

I always thought the original "I'm a player" song was saying "amadeus amadeus" and everyone always gave me strange look for mentioning that, like they don't know who the fuck mozart was.

It's expedient I'll grant you. Sure, it means shoveling the cleaning up onto the neighbours, but it does spread the work out quite a bite and anyway the main part of the nasty work, as it were, will go to someone you won't have to meet on a daily basis. Yea, I can see this catching on.

I don't know why I didn't remember it. Probably because my mind was on overload yesterday, but there was a show on fireworks and this guy wanted his ashes scattered on a property so they made a rocket with his ashes in it. It was awesome.

I think the quintessential BM kid on the other side makes the thing so hilarious. "Who do you hang out with? What bands do you know?"

OK, on an earlier topic, at 3.25, here's another kid that was damn lucky that I'd just arrived and was only doing an easy warmup solo, otherwise there isn't a chance in hell he'd gotten away with less than concussion.
And fuck, why didn't they keep on filming? That was a good day for both me and Mark, the guy just before me.

Finally! We see you! I was just thinking about that earlier. Is the Exiled Dance Crew with Zack video on youtube you also?
You guys are good! I'd kill myself just walking on a stage.

Yea, I think that's Exiled too, though that was before I joined.
Thanks, though it still bugs me six ways to sunday that he didn't keep filming another ten minutes at least, I really wanted to see my new freeze combo. Oh well.

So once you found out that other guy was there with you did you have to alter your routine much?

Nah, not really. Like I said, this was when I'd only just gotten there, and I'd been sitting on a chair all day before this, so this was just as an easy warm up. Thing is, if I had been planning on doing a power move, I would probably have started it just after that step-on-the-spot thing before I saw him and then there would have been a bit of blood in the action too.

Not a very good job on the translation; if I ever go serious on youtube I'll do a better one. But since I found it I just had to share this little piece of Swedish culture...

Haha that was a hilarious post in that forum I've never seen that Dan Aykroyd documentary though. I'll have to watch it when I have some spare time on my hands.
But yeah, in all seriousness I always have been a firm believer in life on other planets. It just doesn't make sense that this is the only populated planet in the universe
What do you think of the parallel universe theory?

But yeah, in all seriousness I always have been a firm believer in life on other planets. It just doesn't make sense that this is the only populated planet in the universe
What do you think of the parallel universe theory?
|
I agree, there's gotta be something else crawling around out there. I don't know if we'll ever encounter it, but it's not reasonable to assume that we're the only planet in a seemingly unending universe which yields life.
The Parallel Universe theory has one major problem for me. It's the same problem as the idea of time travel - if time travel is possible someone would have come back and told us. Likewise, if every conceivable variation of life exists in parallel with our own reality then there's gotta be a reality in which inter-parallel universal travelling is possible and someone would have appeared and licked my balls with their licorice tongue by now.
Quantum mechanics is pretty incredible, though:

The particles know when they're being watched! I get the quantum heebie-jeebies every time I walk through a playground.

Have you ever read about John Titor? I can't say whether or not his story is/was true. But he was a guy who posted on message boards in 2000/2001 claiming to be from the year 2036.
About the parallel universe thing... It does sound somewhat absurd that there is a universe out there that is exactly like ours. But I have always wondered if there are human beings on other planets. I don't think any other planets in this galaxy can sustain human life, so maybe there is a planet in another galaxy somewhere with other human beings. If we ever did find out, it certainly wouldn't be soon, but it is a very interesting thought nonetheless. Just thinking about how different they might look, how different the cultures, civilizations, and languages might be. They could be much more advanced than us, or far behind us. There are endless possibilities. Every day I think about how amazing this planet is, and how much more amazing the fucking universe is, and it blows my goddamn mind haha. There is still much to be learned, and I hope I get to live long enough to see at least one major breakthrough.
I saw that video you posted above about a year ago. It is very interesting, and I watched it right through just so I could be amazed all over again haha. I think Fred Alan Wolf did the voice... it certainly sounds like him anyways. I read one of his essays and found a book of his at the library not too long ago. Very interesting (and extremely intelligent) guy.

Yeah, 'cause that's exactly what I'd do if I had the power of time travel at my finger tips - post on a forum haha.

Same here. I had somewhat high hopes for that large hadron collider bollocks, thinking there might be an answer or two to be found, or better still that existence as we know it would implode, but I should'a known better

I love all of that surreal physics shit, like the double-split experiment, etc. Kinda shakes up your perception of the world you're living in, and no LSD required!
I'll have to have a wee gander at that guy's webpage

If anything, you'd probably go forward in time and find out what became of everyone here, then come back to the present and post on the RTT telling everyone what's going to happen with our lives eventually, just so that when it does happen, we'll all think you're fucking amazing for predicting our lives and fly to Ireland to worship you and give you endless blowjobs for life.

Haha yeah, nothing useful came of that experiment, did it? I just remember seeing some people on the news a day or two before it was scheduled, and they were urging them not to do it because they thought world might implode I didn't really think it would amount to anything, because it was ALL OVER the fucking news, and we all know how the media likes to pump things up that aren't really that big of a deal to begin with

Indeed! There are still so many mysteries in the universe, many of which may never be solved, and maybe they are meant to be part of the unknown for all time... life would probably be quite boring if we got everything figured out. Yeah, thinking about how amazing and complicated the world/universe is can lift my mood without the need for alcohol. Don't get me wrong, the alcohol is still very fun at times but learning enlightens me much more than a substance ever could, it's like a natural kind of high (I didn't mention street drugs because I never use those)
I hear so many people saying things like "man, the world is shit, who cares?" or usually something to that effect, and I think to myself, no... the world is incredible, nature is mind blowing, the world is "shit" because people made it that way. What I wouldn't give to live in the past for just ONE day to see the world in its natural unpolluted beautiful state.

I think he might have some videos on YouTube too. I'm going to the library tomorrow to see if they have any of his newer books in stock yet

Endless blowjobs would be very frustrating; I quite like the endings

Yeah, the world is amazing, but some of the creatures wandering around on it are fucking assholes haha. I mean, look at turkeys - complete and total bastards, the lot of 'em

Exactly... they have wings and they don't even fly. Lazy cunts
And what the fuck is up with Aardvarks? They look like the offspring of a rabbit that got fucked by a pig

If the theory has any validity then you'd have to accept that this pic reresents one possible parallel reality! There'll be another reality in which you are king of the world and I'm your official apple-polisher. *sigh* a man can dream...

They sure don't climb in the trees I've seen them in. They don't fly far, but the wild ones sure as heck can fly. The domestic ones may have their flight feathers clipped on their wings to keep them from flying at all. I used to do that to my pet birds, too.
TURKEYS! That is. Not aardvarks. Although someone should work on flying aardvarks.

Haha what a lovely thought
Maybe in one of these realities, you are the one on the leash, and I'm the master

haha it's all good. It's not like I was even really trying hard. I record myself jamming as more of a writing process. Jam out some random shit, pick out the stuff that sounds cool and use it. I have a second part to that video i'm uploading now, as you can tell by my awesome opening credits (courtesy of microsoft movie maker, or whatever it's called haha).

I recently picked up a jump rope for cardio and was searching for the proper way to do a few techniques and found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnChvpipSps
That's fucking awesome. I love picking up something and figuring out there is so much more than the basics.
