The Self Titled, one sided 7" is the only thing worth a true listen. I used to like Canada Songs when it came out, but it just "meh" now.

Take note that FUCK SONGS has completely different vocals than CANADA SONGS, which has your generic converge type screaming.

Every time I say FUCK SONGS I means HELL SONGS
HELL SONGS is the better of the 2 records, very ambient section, far superior vocals, way more convincing in execution and delivery, it's Daughters at their finest.
Get HELL SONGS.
I think the reason I say Fuck Songs is because one of my favourite songs on the album is The Fuck Whisperer  |

these guys dont play providence anymore, kinda sucks.
havent heard the new album, but have seen the new stuff live.
i liked it, hopefully they get more experimental.
its good to get out of the "16th at 250pbm" range sometimes

they dont play local much anymore, not in the last 2 years.
scene politics and so on, its stupid. basically alot of folks dont like them here and they are doing well enough to just release albums/hit the road and do what they do.
it has to do with them being quite successful..........breeds resentment.

I got their self-titled EP (I think it was self-titled) a long, long time ago and like it. I heard Canada Songs when it game out and didn't think much of it.

Canada Songs is quite good - I like their twisted sense of melody. I'll probably get Hell Songs not too far into the future.

Hell Songs I assure you is far superior. They really got their act together, realised what they were doing and it's the most complete both in concept and execution.
