Hmm, I think it was okay taken in the right context. If you don't have anything to relate it to or expect more of a storyline then yeah, it would disappoint, but I think it has a pulse to it and resolution.
If it was to be a song it would be a good "We Have Heaven" Yes type song between songs with some repetition of lines in other pieces throughout a concept.
Think outside the box.
