Im def looking forward to seeing CC. JFAC is the main reason for my friends that are going, Psyopus is good, but how are they live? The Red Chord should be decent at least.

I'm guessing this is the same tour lineup that's performing at Pop's in Illinois, since I'm seeing CC there on the third? If so, cool bands to see along with Cannibal Corpse. I thought it was gonna be a sucky lineup with CC, but good things come to those who refrain from masturbating.... or at least try to.

That Job For a Cowboy shit is really pissing me off. When they played with Necrophagist, the only reason this kid went with me was to see JFAC and went outside for Necro along with half the crowd.

CC is good, but they carry a shitty line-up...I'll pass.

I never got the big deal about them. Sure, they churn out a few decent riffs, but nothing special. Just another metalcore band on the block. drop tuned and ready to break it down.

I'm going to the Poughkeepsie show for Corpse. Probably show up late so as not to have to watch the god-awful openers, though..

My friend went to the venue and he said it was cool.

The only way they will be semi-cool is if they say "all our fans are gay." Then change their stule of music into something good.

By mixing death metal and metalcore they were begging for attention because they get all those fans that think real death metal is "untaltented garbage."

It is their fault entirely.

for 400 THOUSAND of their plays, they were self promoters/4 out of 5 of them were still in high school/and they weren't signed (even by a small indie label) <---they did everything themselves.

Doesn't matter how many plays they've had on Myspace, if they still essentially suck. They're death metal for your highschool cheerleading squad. I'm not just talking shit, I heard their songs on their Myspace, they're horrible. "Let's put a slow part here to be brutal" typical garbage going on nowadays.

It's good that Cannibal Corpse are touring with this lineup. Just gives them more exposure and helps people to see for themselves and decide if they want to investigate death metal further or just stick with what's popular and easily accessible.

EDIT : Psyopus is off the freaking wall. Only weak thing about them is the vocalist.

Im so pumped, me and my friend are jumping in a pit.

I think this tour is supposed to be celebrating Metalblades 25th anniversary... I think they were all kind of thrown together by the label and told to tour.

Funny enough, the show I saw had Behemoth (as far as I know it was the only one they are going to play) and at the end of CC's set the only band that Corpsegrinder acknowledged and thanked was them.

Ok my story-

We walk out the door and one of my friends ask my other friend if he had the tickets, and he forgot them in his room. He went up and got them. Close call! Well we are driving, so far we know where we're going. We stop to get gas and some food. Our route went from Ohio, West Virginia, then to Penn. We get into Pittsburgh and then the bad part of the trip starts. We drive around FOREVER trying to find this damn venue. The driver was recently at this exact venue the week before. We stopped at 6-7 as stations trying to find directions. At one point we ask someone where Millvale was and they say with a smile on their face "Millvale? Thats like an hour away!" Asshole knew we we're close. Eventually we roll through the ghetto (LOL) We get to the last station we stop at and at this point we KNEW we were going to miss PsyOpus, the first band. Well some random lady told us where to go. She was very helpful, we find our way and we get their in time to sea 4 or 5 Job For A Cowboy songs. We got in there and found a spot then rock the fuck out for a bit then on the last song we jump into the pit and fuck some people up. We all stayed away from this big ass Rino looking motherfucker though. JFAC kicked ass!!! They were fucking amazing live. The drummer threw his sticks out into the crowd, we couldnt get one though. Next up was The Red Chord. Another great performance. They got the crowd chanting WHAT THE FUCK over and over again. It was great. They were pretty brutal. THEN all of a sudden this drummer throws his sticks too, and my friend caught one!! SCORE!!! The final band was none other than Cannibal Corpse. I tried to get as close to the stage as i could. It was crowded as fuck, everyone wanted to get up front. The pit got going and we jumped in. Pushed some people around. My knees were so stiff from standing all day. As promised, Cannibal Corpse brought the fucking place down. They ended the show with Hammer Smashed Face. Everyone flipped the fuck out. After that, Alex Webster was shaking and slapping hands with the crowd, i reached up and shook his hand, SCORE! Then Corpsegrinder came over and was slapping hands, he slapped my hand, another score! This night was fucking brutal. I got me a Corpse t-shirt. I wore it to school the next day. At one pojnt someone shouted somthing and Corpsegrinder said "go to a Six Feet Under show for that!" and then said somthing like "we dont do pussy stuff here" If another Tabber was there, correct me if im wrong on EXACTLY what said.

This shit was insane.

JFAC and The Red Chord were fucking awful, as expected. No idea what that deathcore bullshit was doing following Cannibal Corpse around.

Corpse ruled, though, as usual.

Just got back from Pops.

Fucking loved the show. The awesomeness of tonight has definitely balanced out with the big disappointment Ozzfest was. I even thought the opening bands were good.

Red Chord wasn't playing, though. They had apparently stopped touring or something. Anyway, they were replaced with a local band, Rusted Skin. Good opening band.

Next was Psyopus. Great.

Then Job for a Cowboy. Awesome.

Cannibal Corpse made my night. Best ever performance. I was out of breath from screaming so much. I've never headbanged so hard for any band I've seen. Would have even gotten in the pit, but everytime I thought about it, some big guy would walk in and I would be like, "Shit, man, he's gonna eat me." haha.
