Avatar or Vader cabs???
What would your guys say is the way to go; Avatar or Vader Cabs? The Vader cabs are about $200 more than the Avatar, are the Vader cabs worth $200 more? I know they use different speakers than the Avatar.
Anyone have any personal knowledge of these?

Oh I know, its just that if you scroll down the page you would swear you are seeing the same band logo over and over again.

They're hand built in the US, it's a small company. They're looking for international distributors.

i was debating this exact same thing
if iwas living in the US i would of went vader, however since im in canada the shipping costs were recockulus, so i found a company where i could get avatar out of canada and i saved myself about 400 bux
with this avatar i was allowed to customize the cab to the specs i wanted, you can choose your combination of speakers, you can wire in any pattren you want
tonally the cab is excellent, clarity i get with it is just insane, my only small critisism is that i wish it had a little more THUMP to it, however, i ve only jammed with it once and it needs to be be EQed alot differently then my old cab so im still struggling with finding that sweet spot.
anyways, everyone seems to talk upvader alot, im sure they are awesome cabs especially for metal
youll need to way the oppurtunity cost im afraid
i wanted a new guitar as well as a new cab, and i couldnt afford both if i went with vader, also ordering out of your home country is always less of a hassle

What speaker combonation did you go with?
I actaully ordered the Avatar last night ($488.00 and that included the shipping), I just could not pass it up. All the reviews on Harmony Central about the cabs were insanly good and more than $250 cheaper than the Vader. I am sure the Vader is great but I am not sure how much better if at all.
It shipped today with 2 Vintage 30's on top and 2 G12T75s on the bottom, 4 ohms and stereo 1 Vintage 30 and 1 G12T72 on each side. I am extreamly excited about it and can not wait to hook it up to my new Crate GX 130C head!!!
I should have it Monday or Tuesday and I will post my review and some pictures as well.
