Good read. The treasure and golden color made it seem content, but the last line gave it a different tone.
I liked the structure of the piece. It was a bit different than what I normally see here.

thanks. heh. i came here to delete this thread, but i saw that you had posted.
its pretty much a transition from a curious hope, to an accepted, and foreseen, failure. ...which hadnt happened then, but i figured it would. and , as far as i can see, it has. |

I think showing other sides of writing is good on a forum that allows it. Once pigeonholing and censoring of topics or styles starts then it makes it less user friendly. You never know who's out there reading, too. You might post something like this and it goes over better than a blood and guts metal piece.
