Tmfreak and I actually met up in Blacksburg Virginia when he was going to Virginia Tech. My mental image of him was alot different than the real person he was, and so was his attitude. He was a cool cat, actually let me stay at his place after we got smashed at this house party up there. He told me he thought i was gonna be nerdy as shit lol....
The mental image we make of each other is pretty awesome to me. I really do think that a different side of us comes out on the internet, you don't know the true self someone ponders off to people in real life. Thats why i guess we format a face for the text someone writes its just "natural" to want a sense of physical features, even though a different side of that person is showing making us tweak and tape them together pieces at a time.
So what did you picture me as paddy?
My biggest surprise for some reason was finding out Chris was black...don't ask me why i really did have a mental image of him being white. The internet, where Chris's white side takes over.

That could go pretty terrible and end in tears for some members of this board. 
However, its a good idea to see how we are judged by what we type....we can pretty much see already the view of some members they hold towards others. Personally fuck what ya do on here your still a cool cat in my book, because ya listen to metal! I'd check requim out if i was in Texas. Now CTL LOL, that would definently be an interesting adventure, he has stated some strange shit before. For a long time dystopia had this kid holding a guitar in his avatar, that kid became the mental image I have of him.

It's pretty cool, especially if you listen in on everything the guide is talking about. Unfortunately the one thing I really, really wanted to see was his private library that is supposedly enormous and stacked floor to celing with rare/first editions books but its closed off to the public.
I've lived in California all my life and had never been to it until a few months ago. I wasn't planning on going to it but while on a road trip I realized that I was going to be pretty close to it so I decided to go.. I wouldn't drive 5 hours to see it but it was worth the 1 hour detour.

They're actually American Optics pilot glasses; AO seriously makes the best fucking quality glasses ever (just ask the US government!). I've been through 100 pairs of aviator/pilot glasses always trying to find the perfet pair but 90% of them were cheap, fragile, poorly made, and usually broke. But, about a year ago, after I tried on a friend's pair and beheld how great they looked on me naked, I ordered a pair the next day. They aint cheap, but I'll never need another pair again.

I like cold. Iceland looks like the perfect place to go to after looking at the average temperatures there. The coldest it ever got was 1°F... but fuck it that doesn't happen often. I can battle through that anyways. The weather seems to be a lot like the winter-ish weather in California.
But I'd need somebody named Dydlo to confirm all this with his admirable experience over there.

I was there in the summer and during a considerably sunny summer (people were calling me "Sunny Boy" because everywhere I went, the sun followed - as it usually rains a lot in the summer there) so the temperature never got down below 10şC I don't think (with highs in the 20s). Probably a bit colder up north in Husavik but not by very much (and this is all moot if you're on a glacier, of course). It was pretty comfortable weather. Oh how I miss that place.
Now, Winter, in which I've not been, is another story.

pretty good all things considered, i need to install a new oil pump. but it had been sitting for over a year put fresh gas in the carb and she fired right up and idled fine. put it in gear to move and she sputtered and coughed a bit but thats to be expected. it was actually sitting outside. I bought it from my freinds cousin who did alot of the body work when he was in highschool (about 10 years ago) and never really drove it in the winter so that helped alot

Usually I don't wear the hat, but it was pretty bright. I wore the boots because I had good jeans on and I always wear the gloves and safety glasses.Usually I do have my hair up though. It would be my luck to bend over and get my hair wrapped up somehow like I did in the handheld vacuum cleaner motor. (ouch)
I told my husband what you said and he said that would be him. And you don't need the canned food if you have enough guns and ammo. He's already had that planned out for a long time.

Depends on the situation, if its a nuclear fallout or something of that sort you would probably need it. I think one day if I have the money I will seriously consider building a project like this, my parents already own a small amount of land up in the mountains, hopefully I'm getting the legal rights to that, heh heh heh...  |

There's people around town that still have fall out shelters underground from the 50's. The ones I know of use them for wine cellars or they do store food there. The Y2K thing had them stocking up.
