best aussie beer i've had (pretty limited selection over here) was from cooper's ..not sure which one though..probably the "best extra stout"

I definitely agree with that statement.
Its kind of a nice way saying that you don't care for the tattoo, or tattoo idea and they're seeing whether or not you've thought it through.
I think its probably only appropriate to only express that thought before they get the tattoo. Until they get it, its still just an idea and a friend could be riding off some hype on how cool it its and not ever really sat down and thought about it.
But then again, i'm not really friends (or see myself being good friends with) somebody who would get a dumb tattoo and shrug off future implications of it.

Fanned fret 7 nearly finished. The 'strings' are just lengths of coloured wire. The nut still needs cutting, and the frets dressing (after the oil finish has been applied- after removing all the hardware, of course). Time to start the next instrument i think

Gotcha. I mean, i had no idea about the tension. Obviously if its looser its i'm sure got more of a smooth bassier tone. Probably like tuning to C on a guitar without having to tune low.

haha oh, i've gotten the shave your face bit! he was pretty unhappy about that at first...however, as i suspected, he put it in the past during and after the ceremony. he said something like "we're proud of you, even if you need to shave" (not the first time he mentioned shaving) and i replied "thanks, i knew you could see past the facial hair."
he still works out and does PT with the kids at his school every week. he's been bugging me about going running with him to get my 1.5 mile time down...i know i should probably go, but i don't feel like listening to him hassling me if i can't keep pace with him. |

I mean mark invited us over.... We actually wrote a song at that house at that tiny breakfast nook.
Jon my old guitarist/singer was shit faced and had my acoustic. He just started playing a repetative 3 power chord punk riff and saying.. Jon is drunk..... jon is drunkk... jon is drunk.
Another song made about that was "Kyle's Song." About him passing out on the toilet and throwing up all over the bathroom. FUUUUUN times at the generals house..
We ended up making a song called jon is drunk. For awhile we made it so that he randomly made up shit as he went every time we played teh song and eventually going out on its own steam. He later wrote lyrics to it. I think that got rid of the randomness of it, but eventually he started saying the same shit anyways.

i don't think i ever met jon, but i know i met kyle once or twice.
while i was there, i rarely had anyone over ever. on the other hand, there wasn't much to do besides watch tv or listen to music. sucked when i couldn't drive anywhere but work too! only people i ever had over were my friend kevin (mainly to pick me up for work when i couldn't drive), kylee a few times..parents weren't around for some of that  , and this guy greg i used to work with came over with his girlfriend and someone else once. no parties though..just hung out and whatnot.
even though i got arrested that summer, i'd say i had way more fun overall than i did the other summer i lived there. the first summer i was there, i did lawn maintenance for craven county schools and didn't really know anyone. every so often i'd drive out to jacksonville to hang out with the few remaining people i knew in that area for the weekend. |

Other than to pick mark up at your house i NEVER hung out there. Mark didn't want to, and i doubt anybody else wanted to.
Hell i bailed out mark one time cause your dad was being an unforgiving/untrustworthy cock with mark. Here is a kid who NEVER gets in trouble, makes great grades, does what hes told without grumbling NEAR as much as anybody i ever knew, and the one time he messed up and didn't take his car in to the shop IMMEDIATELY when he was told to, he should be punished by not allowed to drive their car to meet up with a long ago friend for one last time in raleigh? I know that was a really long sentence but i was pissed off over it. I felt he deserved a second chance for being a good and overlly responsible kid, so i drove him to raleigh.
Dont' know many people that would do that for free out of the blue.
