closing year old threads??
i dno if this or sumtin similair has been brought up before.
but since some newb's (murderforprofit for example) seem to keep resurecting threads that have been xxx years old...
maybe its an idea to close threads older than 1 year old for posting???
i guess its alot of work for the mods to do, unless they have a ''close threads older than xx years'' button... wich i boubt

We leave those threads open so that we don't have to have dozens of threads discussing the same topic. Either way it's annoying, but this way it's less annoying.

If there was a way to close those threads but keep them open for searches, that would be cool. It's not really a big deal but it's real when someone resurrects a _ year old thread.

You guys get pissed if somebody bumps an old thread, and also if they start a new thread on an old thread's topic. You get more pissed for the latter than the former, so get used to the former.

agreed. based on the various forums i'm a member of...i prefer to bump an old thread than to make a new one about the same subject...no point in making a new one really...especially if the old one died out. its practically the same as starting a new thread.
