i havent tried them yet, but i'm trying to get on it. From my perceptions though, i figure they're cheapo low to medium gain pickups. I've heard the SWV's (select wound vintage) sound like shit, and the mafias sound pretty good, but i still have to see for myself. Most of the reviews out there are commercial (from magazines and whatnot), so they give no description of the tone and tend to glorify everything.
When i do get around to trying them, i'll post a full review.
