again i dont know much.
my friends dad was recording on the computer.
he was hooked up to a little red box that almost looked like a pedal.
and it had different amp models that you can choose from.
so he was makeing songs on the computer with this.
i want to do that.
so what kinds of those pedals are there that are best for metal?
and any advice on how to use it?
i have nooooo idea.. so thanks again.

He was probably using a Line 6 Pod 2.0 or XT. They're amp simulators. You can record with your 6100 too though, if you get a recording interface and a decent mic OR a cabinet simulating DI box, that's a way better idea unless you cant jam and record late at night.

thats the thing.
im a boxer and i have training from 5 to 8 30 with my team.
and i get home from school at 3 30.
and i try to do my homework.
soooo i dont have much time to jam.
so im lookin for the quickest way to do things.

XT is your best bet, but you'll want to invest in a good sound interface too, to get the best quality out of it.
